The movie 'Hope' (directed by Na Hong-jin) will be released next summer. The distributor Plus M Entertainment announced on the 30th that "Hope" has been confirmed for a summer 2026 release. They heightened expectations by revealing related casting photos.

'Hope' is an action thriller. The story begins when a tiger appears near Hopohang, close to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Characters face an unbelievable reality.

This marks Na Hong-jin's fourth feature film. He has captivated both audiences and critics with films such as 'The Chaser', 'The Wailing', and 'Goksung'. His strengths lie in intricate compositions and original storytelling.

A star-studded cast has come together. Hwang Jung-min reunites with the director for the second time, taking on the role of Beom-seok, the head of the Hopohang branch. Jo In-sung plays Seong-gi, a young man from the village.

Jung Ho-yeon makes her film debut in 'Hope', playing the role of Seong-ae, a police officer. Seong-ae is a character with a clear set of her own standards, hinting at a strong transformation.

Hollywood actors Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Taylor Russell, and Cameron Britton also join 'Hope', each portraying alien characters.

The director expressed his gratitude, stating, "I deeply appreciate the hard work of the actors. They have conveyed the essence of the work with the best talent. This combination is extraordinary."

Meanwhile, 'Hope' is currently in post-production and is set for a global release next summer.
