“My Mister,” a Theatrical Rebirth… “The Aftertaste of the Original Moves to the Stage”

The drama 'My Mister' is being reborn as a play.

Production company T2N Media announced on the 30th that the play 'My Mister' will be performed at the LG Arts Center Seoul U+ Stage in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, this coming August.

The stage will be led by director Kim Jae-yeop, who is an award-winning figure in the Dong-A Theatre Awards for both the Best Play and Best Playwright categories. He will present a work that carries the lingering emotions of the original drama.

Actors from various fields have joined the cast. Lee Dong-ha and Park Eun-seok have been cast in the lead role of Park Dong-hoon. Kim Hyun-soo and Hong Yeo-jin will play the roles of Lee Ji-an.

Lee Kyu-han and Yoon Sun-woo will portray the character of Joon-young, while Oh Yeon-ah and Jang Hee-jin will take on the role of Kang Yoon-hee. Heo Yeong-son, Choi Jeong-woo, and Moon Yoo-gang will play the character of Lee Kwang-il.

Additionally, Lee Seong-hee and Jin So-yeon will portray Jeong Jeong-hee. Lee Won-jang and Byun Jin-soo have been chosen for the role of Park Ki-hoon, breathing life into each character.

A spinoff is also in preparation. The production company stated, "We plan to show the play 'Jeong-hee' in the first half of next year," adding that director Lee Gi-beom will be involved.

Meanwhile, the play 'My Mister' will open on August 22. Ticket sales will start on the 9th of next month at 3 PM through platforms like NOL Ticket.
