Actors Gong Min-jung and Jang Jae-ho will tie the knot after meeting in a drama.
On the 16th, Gong Min-jung announced on Instagram, "Next month, I will have a small wedding with Jang Jae-ho, the person I'm closest to in the world. We will only invite family members and close friends."
Both were born in 1986. They starred as a married couple in tvN's "Marry My Husband," which ended last February. Although they knew each other before the project, it's reported that they became a couple through the drama.
Gong Min-jung said, "We were friends even before meeting in the drama. He made me laugh a lot. He is such a precious and valuable person who warmly embraced me with consistent kindness," adding, "He made me believe that I want to move forward together for a lifetime rather than being alone."
She concluded, "These days bring significant changes in my life. Please send some warm hearts for my new start. I'm sincerely grateful to all who cherish and support me. I will live well."
Jang Jae-ho said, "I want to spend the rest of my life with someone I truly love," adding, "She is an extraordinary person whom I respect both as a human and an actor. I will always strive to live happily."
Gong Min-jung debuted in the 2013 film "Those Who Want to Die by Their Own Name." She has since played memorable roles in dramas such as "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," "Little Women," "One Dollar Lawyer," and "Good Morning, Psycho Ward."
