Singer and performance director Kim Min-gi passed away at the age of 73. Fellow entertainers have paid tribute to the deceased.
Lee Juck posted a photo with Kim Min-gi on his SNS on the 22nd. "Brother, I believe you are at peace in heaven. My hero, thank you. I love you," he wrote.
Park Hak-ki also bid his final farewell. He shared a photo of the deceased during his lifetime, saying, "Brother, thank you. I hope you find peace in a beautiful place."
Kim Kwang-jin shared Kim Min-gi's bright smile. "A respected senior has gone to heaven," he said, adding, "We are grateful for the music that guided so much of our lives."
He recalled, "You were someone I wanted to learn many things from. I remember the warm encouragement you gave us, both in music and life. I love you," reminiscing about the memories shared with the deceased.
Ali also shared her memories, "During my yellow hair phase, I was sitting opposite you at an after-party following a performance, shyly receiving a drink. That was our first meeting."
She added, "It was an honor to know, feel, and experience even a little of your artistic journey through your songs. Hope you find rest by the Lord's side."
Meanwhile, Kim Min-gi was a singer-songwriter who composed songs like "Morning Dew," "Evergreen," and "Friend." He also ran the theater company 'Hakchon' for over 30 years, producing talents like Kim Yoon-seok, Hwang Jung-min, and Cho Seung-woo.
Last year, he was diagnosed with stomach cancer and had been battling the illness. As his condition worsened, he passed away on the 21st. The memorial service is being held at Room 2, Seoul National University Hospital Funeral Hall.
