The 'Takeout Incident' at an All-You-Can-Eat Meat Restaurant
A manager of an all-you-can-eat meat restaurant faced difficulties due to customers secretly taking grilled meat.
He lamented through online communities that the so-called 'all-you-can-eat takeout' incident also occurred in his establishment.

On the 19th, an article titled 'The All-You-Can-Eat Meat Takeout Incident is Not Just My Problem' was posted on the online community Bobae Dream.
The author, A, stated that he runs an all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu restaurant near Dongtan Lake Park in Gyeonggi Province.
A expressed, "I never imagined that the incident about customers grilling meat and secretly hiding it to take away would happen to me."
**The Incident Started with Suspicious Behavior**
According to A's explanation, a mother and daughter came to his restaurant a few days ago carrying an empty shopping basket. They wore hats, sunglasses, and masks while looking around the restaurant and then settled in a spot that was not covered by CCTV.

The mother and daughter continuously brought back a lot of ingredients, repeatedly leaving with empty bowls to get more ingredients in a short amount of time.
Suspicious, A reviewed the CCTV footage and witnessed a shocking scene. The mother and daughter were filling zip bags in their shopping basket when A would clean the table or look away.
A chose not to raise the issue immediately for fear of embarrassing the mother and daughter.
Instead, during the payment time, he indirectly asked, "Do you have anything to say?" However, contrary to his expectations, the mother and daughter demanded, "Since we ate cleanly, give us a coupon for extra meat."
A's restaurant provided coupons for customers who finished their meals without leaving leftovers.

**Customers’ Outrageous Responses**
When A directly stated, "I saw you secretly filling food into your bag," the woman replied, "I'm old and a vegetarian, and I have diabetes, so I can’t eat much," and added, "And I didn’t know it was wrong to take food."
Even more surprising was the daughter's reaction. She said, "It's because my mom is old, just let it slide," and then absurdly claimed, "When I eat with someone else, we don’t take food."
She even questioned back, "Last time when we packed up, the staff didn’t say anything, so I thought it was fine. Why is this a problem now?"
A said, "I was left speechless. Logically, they had secretly packed food while dodging our staff's eyes in the blind spot, and how could we have known? If I had known, I would have naturally warned them. This is absurd. It's disheartening to work because of such customers."
