
'MONSTA X' Hyungwon has returned to his fans.
Starship Entertainment announced on the 13th that "Hyungwon has completed his military service of 1 year and 6 months. He was discharged today (13th)."
Hyungwon enlisted in November 2023 and served as an active-duty soldier after being assigned to his unit. He has now finished his duty to the nation and transitioned to civilian life.
With this, MONSTA X has ended its period of military service and is reuniting as a full group. They are set to celebrate their 10th anniversary and release their digital album 'NOW PROJECT Volume 1' on the 14th.
Hyungwon expressed his gratitude, stating, "I've returned to MONBEBE (the fan club name). I missed you all so much. Reading the letters you wrote gave me great strength."
He added, "Tomorrow marks MONSTA X's 10th anniversary. I’m happy to be with the members," and stated, "I will do my best to create many memories together."
On the same day at 6 PM, he will hold a live broadcast to commemorate his discharge on the MONSTA X YouTube channel. Additionally, a free fan event titled 'Hyungwon's Greenhouse' will take place on the 17th.
Meanwhile, MONSTA X, which includes Hyungwon, will release 'NOW PROJECT Volume 1' on the 14th.
