“Moe Moe Kyun~♥”… The Original Maid Cafe That Became a Hit in Japan Officially Opens in Hongdae, Seoul

Maidreamin, the first experiential maid café in Korea, opens its first official store

Maidreamin, Japan's largest maid café franchise, is finally landing in Korea.

Moev Global and Neodilight International announced that they will officially open the 'Maidreamin Hongdae' location in the Hongdae area of Seoul this coming second half of the year. Specific details regarding the opening date and operational methods will be revealed later.

Maidreamin is an entertainment café that initially opened in Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan, in 2008, targeting tourists' "enthusiasm" with the concept of "maids from a dreamland."

Keeping the essence of the Japanese headquarters… "Singing, dancing, and magic performances included"

On stage, maids sing and dance, and magical performances such as “moe moe kyun” are added to the ordered food, making it a genuine "experiential" café that is popular not only in Japan but also in places like Thailand.

The opening of Maidreamin in Hongdae seems to be a signal for entering the Korean market. Drawing from the authentic know-how of the Japanese headquarters, the café will be designed to allow customers to fully experience the Akihabara vibe in Korea.

The operating company plans to go beyond a simple café and is working on content collaborations aimed at subculture fandoms and local exclusive events.

A representative from Neodilight International stated, "We aim to create a 'dream space' that anyone can get lost in here in Korea," adding, "We are making thorough preparations to meet the expectations of local fans."
