tvN’s ‘Ask the Stars’ (written by Seo Sook-hyang, directed by Park Shin-woo) has revealed a simple space glossary. ‘Ask the Stars’ is a space office drama. It tells the story of Eve (played by Gong Hyo-jin), a boss working on a space station, and Dinosaur (played by Lee Min-ho), who has a secret mission, living life beyond Earth.

To help viewers understand the drama more easily, a space glossary has been prepared. It explains the space station and modules, as well as the International Space Union and the Ground Control Center.

First, let’s talk about the space station and modules. A space station is an area with almost no gravity. Astronauts conduct research on various fields such as dementia, infertility, and incurable diseases here. Since astronauts from all over the world gather, modules installed by various countries are docked at the space station and orbit the Earth. It is mainly used as a place for research and living.

The International Space Union is also something to know. It is a fictional international organization that appears only in ‘Ask the Stars.’ It is abbreviated as ‘IOU’ (International institute Of space United). Kang Tae-hee (played by Lee El) appears as the first Korean female vice-director of the Space Center. It’s an organization that greatly impacts the missions of astronauts, so it’s worth paying attention to.

The Ground Control Center is also crucial. It is referred to as ‘MCC’ (Mission Control Center). It is a practical workspace where many astronauts, including Kang Tae-hee, work. It plays the role of aiding the astronauts. It supports their missions inside the space station and helps ensure their safe return to Earth. The work done here is intriguing.

A representative said, “Various spaces are connected, centered around the space station where a variety of astronauts reside. Please look forward to the space life that will soon begin.”

Meanwhile, ‘Ask the Stars’ is scheduled to premiere on January 4th at 9:20 PM.
