The drama ‘I’m Sorry, I Love You’ returns after 20 years. On the 12th, Wavve unveiled the character posters for the 2024 version of ‘I’m Sorry, I Love You,’ featuring actors So Ji-sub, Im Soo-jung, Jung Kyung-ho, Lee Hye-young, and Jeon Hye-jin.

These showcased their pivotal scenes and included the lines that thrilled viewers. Moo-hyuk, played by So Ji-sub, said, “I bet my whole heart on hanging out with you.” Additionally, there was Im Soo-jung’s line, Eun-chae asking, “Is it warm? You’re not lonely anymore, right?” which revealed the painful narrative the two characters shared, stirring emotions.

Other lines included in the posters were, “I won’t let go of your hand again,” “I really can’t see you differently,” and “Come live with us, uncle.” ‘I’m Sorry, I Love You’ is a melodrama that ended in 2004 and tells the story of a man who dreams of revenge against his parents but finds a love he’s not afraid to die for. It created many ‘MISA-addicts’ (a term for viewers who were as addicted to the drama as if possessed).

Im Soo-jung’s fashion also became a hot topic. It’s being reborn as a director’s cut. Director Lee Hyung-min and the major staff have edited the original 16 episodes into a total of 6 episodes. It will be available as an OTT series and a movie. Meanwhile, the 2024 version of ‘I’m Sorry, I Love You’ will premiere on Wavve on the 22nd.
