An indiscriminate assault incident occurred in an Incheon parking lot.

A shocking incident took place in which a high school senior, returning home after finishing academy classes, was attacked indiscriminately by a man he had never met before.

According to JTBC's "Incident Dispatch" aired on the 14th, this incident happened in front of a public parking lot in Incheon on the 16th of last month.

At that time, A, a high school senior, stepped out of the building after finishing his academy class and heard loud shouts and sounds of violence coming from the nearby parking lot.

In the parking lot, a man without a shirt was seen physically assaulting a woman, who later turned out to be his wife.

As soon as the man made eye contact with A, he shouted, "What are you looking at, you bastard!" and suddenly charged at him. He grabbed A by the hair, struck his face with his knee, and continued the brutal assault by kicking him after knocking him down.

A witness at the scene testified, "The man was hitting the woman's face, so I tried to intervene, but he attempted to hit me, and I ran away. That’s when he spotted A standing nearby and started attacking him."

The violence perpetrated by the man did not stop with A. He indiscriminately swung his fists at nearby citizens, and a total of six people were reported to have been attacked by this man.

He even resisted law enforcement by grabbing the hair of a police officer who responded to the scene.

A was transported to the emergency room immediately after the incident, diagnosed with a concussion, and had to undergo surgery for a fractured nasal bone. Notably, A had a history of heart surgery as a child, which significantly amplified the physical and mental shock due to this assault. He has now applied for psychological counseling to treat his trauma.

Police investigations revealed that the perpetrator was intoxicated at the time of committing the crime and was subsequently arrested and charged with assault and obstruction of justice.

Although the perpetrator conveyed his willingness to compromise through the police, A's parents firmly stated that they have no intention of settling.
