Singer and producer An Shinae targets listeners' emotions with her soulful voice. On the 3rd at 6 PM, she will release a new single titled 'Dear City' on various music sites.
'Dear City' marks the beginning of An Shinae's new two-part project. The album expresses her feelings as she traverses between nature and the city, simultaneously telling stories about life in the city.
A highly polished album is anticipated. An Shinae participated in writing and composing all tracks of the single. The album includes the title track 'Hold Me Now' as well as 'Inefficient Love' and 'In the Wind'.
Her agency stated, "An Shinae plans to deliver comforting messages to wounded hearts living in the cold city with various themes," expressing their expectations.
An Shinae herself introduced the title track. "I want to convey the great comfort I received from music through this song," she said.
She added, "I hope this offers a bit of empathy and comfort to the city's people who strive to do their best amidst their harsh lives."
Meanwhile, An Shinae will hold a mini live concert today at 8 PM near Hongdae's Sangsangmadang. In celebration of her comeback, she is expected to present all tracks of the album live.
