Actor Go Soo transforms into a 'parole examiner.' He oscillates between a steely charisma and wit.
On the 14th, tvN released the teaser for the new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Parole Examiner Lee Hanshin' (written by Park Chi-hyung, directed by Yoon Sang-ho). It showcased Lee Hanshin (played by Go Soo) transformed into a highly skilled, eccentric, and iron-willed parole examiner.
'Parole Examiner Lee Hanshin' depicts the thrilling defensive battles of lawyer Lee Hanshin who becomes the ultimate judge, the 'parole examiner,' of prisoners. He takes on real-life villains who avoid paying for their crimes even in prison.
In the video, Lee Hanshin exudes an entirely different charm. He first reveals his charismatic gaze as he makes firm decisions for justice. He then displays his wit while delighting in preventing the parole of villains.
The opening scene shows Lee Hanshin in a dim examination room stamping 'eligible' and 'ineligible' on parole assessment forms. He then raises the stamp saying, "You're not ready to go out into the world yet."
The atmosphere changes. The dark background shifts to a brightly lit scene, revealing Lee Hanshin's law office. Over his smiling face, the caption "The thrilling impregnable defense blocking unscrupulous parole releases" appears.
Finally, lively music plays. A radio newscast announces, "The parole of Oh Jung Group Chairman Ji Dong-man has been denied." Lee Hanshin dances to the news, completing the ending.
An official stated, "Lee Hanshin is serious during parole examinations but jovial in everyday life," adding that "Go Soo maximized and expressed the various charms of Lee Hanshin," hinting at the story to come.
'Parole Examiner Lee Hanshin' is set to air at 8:50 PM on the 18th of next month.
