A Daytime Car Thief Arrested for Stealing 6.5 Million Won Over a Month
A man who targeted unlocked vehicles to steal valuables has been arrested by the police.
The Gyeonggi Northern Provincial Police Agency announced that they apprehended a suspect, identified as A, on charges of stealing a total of 6.5 million won in cash from empty vehicles over a span of four incidents within a month.

This case gained attention after being featured on the Police Agency's YouTube channel with the title '100% Real Situation! Daytime Chase?!!'.
CCTV footage captured A opening the door of an unlocked car and getting into the driver's seat.
Demonstrating meticulousness, he even turned off the interior lights before stealing cash stored in the glove compartment. Upon receiving reports, the police swiftly tracked the suspect's movements to prevent further damage.
