A 40-Year-Old Man Dies at a Massage Parlor in Yangju City
An incident occurred at a sports massage parlor in Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province, where a man in his 40s died while receiving a massage.
According to the police and firefighting authorities, a report was received at around 9:30 PM on the 1st, stating that "a man is breathing but has no consciousness" at a massage parlor in Okjeong-dong, Yangju City. The firefighters who arrived at the scene immediately transported the man to the hospital, but he eventually died during treatment.
Police investigations indicate that the man had complained of dizziness to a colleague before visiting the sports massage parlor together, and he lost consciousness while receiving the massage.
It is known that the man had no significant pre-existing medical conditions.
The police are conducting an investigation and have requested an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the exact cause of the incident.
