Spread of Indecent Exposure Video on Social Media
Recently, a video was shared on social media with the title "Ladies Riding the Shinbundang Line, Please Be Cautious." The video captured a man in military uniform exposing parts of his body.

The victim who posted the video said, "Today on the Shinbundang Line, a soldier in uniform was standing in front of me with his zipper down. He also seemed to be taking pictures with his phone."
He continued, "I was so shocked that I sent a text to the Shinbundang Line complaint number, but it didn't go through. I contacted the police, and the incident has been registered as indecent exposure."
The victim expressed, "As someone who uses the Shinbundang Line every day, I feel very afraid," and asked, "Could you please post this once to warn other women riding the Shinbundang Line?"
The police plan to continue their investigation, as the amendment to the Military Courts Act in 2022 has granted the police the authority to investigate specific crimes, including sexual violence.
