"Please make way! Help, please." (Jung Yong-hwa)
Late afternoon on the 26th, at a festival at Kyung Hee University in Seoul. 'CNBLUE' member Jung Yong-hwa stopped his performance with a serious expression while singing. He shouted "Turn it off!" to the band and removed his in-ear monitors.
Jung Yong-hwa then looked worriedly towards the standing section. An emergency patient had arisen among the audience. He quickly assessed the situation and asked, "Are you okay?"
His quick response didn't end there. He asked the surrounding audience to "make way" and "help, please."
Once the patient was escorted out, he checked again, "Is there anyone else who isn't feeling well?" He added, "If you need to step out, let us know now. Being in a crowded place can be overwhelming."
He even handed over his own water bottle to the audience, asking, "Do you need water?" To this, some of the audience gave a loud cheer.
Jung Yong-hwa continued to ensure safety, saying, "Everyone, this is not a fan service. If you're really struggling, please step forward."
Afterward, Jung Yong-hwa said, "I'll go check on the situation. Please maintain order to prevent any injuries," and ran backstage.
Kyung Hee University also announced the incident, urging, "Safety is a priority. Please spread out a bit more. We will provide as much water as possible. Enjoy safely."
Jung Yong-hwa returned to the stage after confirming the patient’s condition. He said, "No one should get hurt. It really breaks my heart," adding, "I can see each one of you, so please let me know if you're struggling."
Later, he shared on his fan communication platform, "More than being startled, the student's health was important, so I went to confirm with the ambulance. Fortunately, I heard the student is okay and has returned home."
A fan-cam of the scene was uploaded to YouTube, creating a buzz. Not only fans but also netizens are applauding Jung Yong-hwa's quick thinking, consideration, and love for his fans.
Meanwhile, CNBLUE held their solo concert 'VOYAGE into X' at the Handball Stadium in Olympic Park, Seoul, on the 21st and 22nd. They will release their 10th mini-album 'X' on the 14th of next month.
