“Main Album Chart, Broke Through”…Kep1er, First Entry into ‘Billboard 200’

Kep1er has demonstrated global growth by entering the Billboard main chart for the first time. Kep1er released their 6th mini album ‘TIPI-TAP’ on the 1st. According to Billboard, the new release landed at 147th on the main album chart ‘Billboard 200’. This marks their first appearance on the ‘Billboard 200’. The popularity of ‘TIPI-TAP’ grew when it ranked 35th on the ‘Top Album Sales’ as of the 16th of last month.

The album set a personal best on the sub-charts as well. ‘TIPI-TAP’ ranked 7th on the ‘Top Current Album Sales’ chart, climbing 28 spots from the previous week. Furthermore, the album also secured 7th place on the ‘Top Current Album Sales’, jumping 21 spots from its previous position of 28th, proving growth potential. Kep1er also reached 2nd place on both the ‘Heartseekers’ chart and ‘Emerging Artists chart’.

They settled in 4th on the ‘World Albums’ chart, showing improvement from the previous week. The agency stated, “Kep1er, who is consistently growing, has again demonstrated their fandom cohesion and music competitiveness by entering the Billboard main chart.”

Meanwhile, Kep1er became the first survival group to extend their contract. They will continue their activities as a restructured 7-member group from the original 9 members.
