‘Lovelyz’ Kei releases a solo song after 5 years. A2Z Entertainment announced on the 19th, “Kei’s digital single ‘Winter Garden’ will be released at 6 PM today on various music platforms.”
It has been about 5 years since Kei released a solo song. She left a strong impression with her first mini-album ‘Over and Over’ in October 2019. ‘Winter Garden’ is an R&B genre song, characterized by minimal sound completed with warm strings and piano.
Kei’s unique sweet vocals harmonize well. Renowned writers participated. Holin from the producing team Monotree, Frankey Day from Team The Hub, and Ayushai composed the song. Kei also contributed to the lyrics, adding strength. Notably, singer Yoon Sang took on the role of sound supervisor, capturing both Kei’s vocalist capabilities developed with Lovelyz and her charm as a solo artist.
The agency expressed, “We hope that through ‘Winter Garden’ this winter, we can share the warmth contained in the song and wish for everyone to spend it warmly.” Meanwhile, this year Kei has been active as a musical actress and also held solo concerts in Seoul, Macau, and Taiwan as a member of Lovelyz.
