Lee Juck paid tribute to the late Seo Dong-wook.

On the 21st, Lee Juck posted a picture of Seo Dong-wook on social media. He wrote, "A friend whom I loved and respected the most, with whom I shared everything. I came back from sending off a best friend, colleague, neighborhood buddy, and uncle to my kids."

He continued, "I fear how often I will feel his absence, but I sincerely thank him for everything and deeply pray that he rests in peace in a good place."

Seo Dong-wook passed away on the 18th. The cause of death was not disclosed, though it is known that he had a chronic illness.

Seo Dong-wook was active in the band Exhibition with Kim Dong-ryul. Both attended Whimoon High School and Yonsei University. They debuted as singers after winning the grand prize at the 1993 MBC College Music Festival with the song "Into The Dream."

He left many hit songs such as "Etude of Memory," "Drunken Truth," and "Graduation." Despite their immense popularity, the band disbanded in 1997. Following this, Kim Dong-ryul formed "Carnival" with Lee Juck.

Seo Dong-wook left the music industry. He obtained an MBA from Stanford University and worked in finance at McKinsey & Company, Alvarez & Marsal, and Morgan Stanley Private Equity.

His friendship with Lee Juck was also strong. This past September, Seo Dong-wook praised Lee Juck's new song "I Hate Drinking" on social media. He left a compliment, stating, "The beautiful musical descriptiveness that recites on the boundary of Lee Juck's unique directness and irony grips the heart tightly."
