Japanese actress and singer Miho Nakayama has passed away at the age of 54. Foreign media outlets such as ‘TV Asahi’ reported on the 6th that Miho Nakayama was found dead in the bathtub of her bathroom at her home in Shibuya, Tokyo.
According to the report, an acquaintance visited the house when they couldn’t contact the deceased, and upon finding Miho Nakayama unconscious, they reported it to the police. The Japanese entertainment industry is in shock over the sudden news, especially considering she was scheduled to hold a concert in Osaka on the same day.
Miho Nakayama is an actress familiar to Korean audiences from the movie ‘Love Letter’. She later appeared in ‘Tokyo Heaven’, ‘Sayonara Itsuka’, and ‘Butterfly Sleep’. She also pursued a singing career and won the Women’s Idol category at the 6th Gold Disc Awards in 1993 with ‘Miho’s Secret’ (Miho’s Select).
