The movie 'Lobby' (Director: Ha Jung-woo) has set off a promising signal at the box office. According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticket sales network, 'Lobby' attracted 37,158 viewers on its opening day, November 2. The cumulative audience, including preview screenings, reached 41,775.
'Lobby' is currently ranked second in the box office, and its real-time reservation rate is also second. As of 8 AM on the 3rd, the reservation rate stands at 15.9%, with 36,603 tickets sold. It is fiercely chasing after the number one movie, 'Win' (25.1%).
'Lobby' is a black comedy genre film. It tells the story of a startup CEO, Chang-wook (played by Ha Jung-woo), who has only ever known research, embarking on his first lobbying golf game to win a 4 trillion won national project.
This is Ha Jung-woo's third directing work. He has released a sequel after a decade, following 'Roller Coaster' (2013) and 'Heo Samgwan' (2015). He wrote the script, acted in the film, and directed it as well.

Audiences have responded positively to Ha Jung-woo's style of comedy. His unique ideas and distinctive dialogue have stood out. The carefree back-and-forth exchanges between the actors have also garnered praise.
Notably, despite its golf theme, it can be enjoyed even by those who don’t know anything about golf. The concept of lobbying in a golf course setting is considered refreshing. Overall, the direction, performances, and story have received balanced acclaim.
'Lobby' features a cast that includes Ha Jung-woo, Kang Hae-rim (Jin Pro), Lee Dong-hwi (lobby broker journalist), Kim Eui-sung (head of state policy), Cha Joo-young (golf club lady), and Choi Si-won (national actor).
Meanwhile, the number one movie at the box office on this day is 'Win' (Director: Kim Hyung-joo), which attracted 50,766 viewers. Its cumulative audience is 877,735. The third place is 'Attack on Titan: The Final Season – Part 2.'
