Blackpink’s Lisa graced the cover of a famous American magazine alongside top Hollywood actors. Lisa recently became the cover story protagonist for the “2025 Hollywood Issue” special of American magazine ‘Vanity Fair,’ standing shoulder to shoulder with stars like Nicole Kidman and Zendaya.
She was selected as one of 12 people in the magazine recognized for “embracing challenges and transformations in ever-changing Hollywood, raising awareness of the importance of stardom, and opening new horizons for fans.” The “Hollywood Issue” special was first introduced in 1985 and is an annual feature highlighting stars who have shown the most remarkable performances in Hollywood. This marks the 31st edition.
Numerous top stars have been featured on the cover, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Richard Gere, Scarlett Johansson, Oprah Winfrey, and Tom Cruise. Vanity Fair introduced Lisa stating, “America met Lisa in 2019 as the powerful rapper of Blackpink. Now, this K-pop marvel is taking on her first acting challenge.” Lisa will be joining the third season of the popular HBO drama series ‘The White Lotus,’ which was a topic of conversation from the teaser.
In the released video, Lisa appeared as a hotel staff member. ‘The White Lotus’ portrays the stories unfolding over a week at a luxury hotel. The first season aired in July 2021, and the second season in October 2022. Season 3 is set in Thailand.
