Singer Lim Young-woong is taking on his first acting challenge since his debut. A short film featuring him will be released soon.
On the 3rd, Fish Music announced, "Lim Young-woong's short film 'In October' will be unveiled on domestic OTT platforms such as Coupang Play and TVing on the 6th."
'In October' is an apocalyptic film. It is set in a society devastated by a virus and follows Lim Young-woong as he overcomes various incidents.
The film is directed by Kwon Oh-joon, who has created a desolate yet sensory-rich atmosphere. Ahn Eun-jin and Hyun Bong-shik also contributed, enhancing the film's quality with their superb acting.
This movie was previously introduced through the music video for Lim Young-woong’s double single 'Warmth' on May 6. It left a strong impression and heightened curiosity for the full version.
The agency said, "Lim Young-woong has taken on a challenge to portray natural yet complex emotions. He plans to offer fans a touching resonance."
Meanwhile, 'In October' will be available on Coupang Play and TVing at 12 PM on the 6th.
