'ITZY' Lia is coming back. She will resume activities in the second half of this year.

JYP Entertainment announced Lia's return on the 9th. "Starting with ITZY's new album, scheduled to be released in the second half of the year, she will begin full-scale activities," they said.

The decision was made after careful discussions with Lia. The agency explained, "Lia's symptoms of tension and anxiety have significantly improved through treatment and rest."

The agency also asked for understanding, stating, "However, for pre-scheduled activities and shoots before the new album release, they will proceed with the four members (Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna)."

Lastly, they promised, "We thank the fans for their warm encouragement and support for Lia's recovery. We will continue to support the artist to meet fans in a healthy condition."

The news of Lia's return was first conveyed to MIDZY (fanclub). ITZY held a live broadcast on their YouTube channel on the 8th to celebrate the 5th anniversary of their fan club.

Lia made a welcome appearance after about 10 months. She transformed with a short haircut and appeared dressed as Matilda. "I am working hard to come back with the upcoming new album," she said.

She also shared her thoughts on the 5th anniversary of their fan club. "Happy birthday to MIDZY. I am happy we can all gather and celebrate together," she said, creating a warm atmosphere.
