Actor Lee Young-ae is returning to the small screen. She participated in a script reading for her new project.
The production team of KBS-2TV's new Saturday-Sunday mini-series 'Eunsu's Good Day' (written by Jeon Young-shin, directed by Song Hyun-wook) revealed the script reading scene on the 22nd. Lee Young-ae, Kim Young-kwang, Park Yong-woo, and others attended.
'Eunsu's Good Day' is an action thriller genre. It tells the story of a parent who wants to protect their family and a two-faced teacher who unexpectedly gets involved in a desperate partnership due to a bag of drugs.
The atmosphere on the day sparked anticipation for the synergy of experienced acting. Lee Young-ae plays the role of Kang Eunsu. She delicately expressed complex emotions that oscillate between desperation, danger, and strength.
Kim Young-kwang portrayed the after-school art instructor Lee Kyung. By day, he is a highly popular teacher, but at night he works as a club MD. He revealed his two faces, adding tension to the narrative.
Park Yong-woo plays the veteran detective Jang Tae-goo, who is on the trail of a drug trafficking organization. Through detailed acting, he depicted Tae-goo's sharp and charismatic sides.
Additionally, Bae Soo-bin, Jo Yeon-hee, Hwang Jae-yeol, Do Sang-woo, Oh Yeon-ah, and Lee Gyu-sung also delivered solid performances. Their commitment to their roles heightened the anticipation for the main content of 'Eunsu's Good Day.'
They also shared their determination for the project. Lee Young-ae expressed her hope that "'Eunsu's Good Day' will serve as a turning point that brings a new breeze to KBS dramas and actors."
Kim Young-kwang added, "Our work portrays a story where each character lives with their own desires. I am honored to work alongside Lee Young-ae and Park Yong-woo."
Lastly, Park Yong-woo remarked, "I am happy that the drama I anticipated has become a reality. Viewers will feel both tension and excitement in this story filled with twists and turns."
Meanwhile, 'Eunsu's Good Day' is set to premiere on September 20 at 9:20 PM.
