Actress Lee Yoo-mi is thriving both on screen and television, continuously showcasing her works. Lee Yoo-mi starred in the film "We Can't Go to Heaven, But We Can Love" (directed by Han Jae-i, hereafter referred to as 'WCC') which was released on the 16th. 'WCC' is set in 1999 and depicts the friendship and love of young girls. Lee Yoo-mi plays Ye-ji, an ex-juvenile detention center inmate, while Park Soo-yeon portrays Joo-young, a member of the Taekwondo club.

After two years in production, the film was finally released. It features elements of homosexuality but goes beyond typical teen romance, presenting a story akin to a social critique.

She is also venturing into romantic comedy. Lee Yoo-mi takes on the role of Jae-mi in Netflix's "Mr. Plankton" (directed by Hong Jong-chan), which is scheduled for release on the 8th of next month. "Mr. Plankton" tells the story of Jae-mi, an unlucky woman, who is forced to accompany Hae-jo (played by Woo Do-hwan), a man mistakenly born, on his last journey.

It is expected to captivate a global audience, as Lee Yoo-mi gained worldwide attention through "Squid Game" and "All of Us Are Dead."

She will also appear in another Netflix series. She has confirmed her role in "You Killed Me" (directed by Lee Jung-rim), based on a Japanese novel, and recently attended a script reading.
