Singer Lee Seung-gi will grace the stage of 'Immortal Songs: King of Kings Special'. KBS-2TV's 'Immortal Songs' will air the '2025 King of Kings Special' episode on the 28th at 6:05 PM. Ahead of his debut King of Kings stage, Lee Seung-gi shared his thoughts.

The King of Kings Special features only those singers who have achieved victory in the show. Ten teams will compete for the title of 'King of Kings', recognized as the best artists.

Lee Seung-gi expressed his determination, stating, "I will perform without regrets and show everything I have." He emphasized, "I want to enjoy it regardless of the outcome. The goal is to have fun on stage."

He is set to deliver a powerful performance alongside Lee Hong-ki with their rendition of 'Gale'. It is rumored that they created an ecstatic atmosphere not just for the audience, but even in the backstage waiting room.

The two friends also showcased their close bond. Lee Seung-gi joked about Lee Hong-ki, who has a conflicting schedule, saying, "He pretends to be busy because he's a world star," which brought laughter.

MC Kim Jun-hyun also added, "Today's schedule was meticulously adjusted to fit Lee Hong-ki's timings." The amusing banter between Lee Seung-gi and Lee Hong-ki is another highlight to look forward to.

This King of Kings Special will feature performers such as Choi Jung-won, Son Seung-yeon, So-hyang, Yang Dong-geun, Jairo, Ali, Heo Yong-byeol, Jung Jun-il, Son Tae-jin, Jeon Yu-jin, Shin Seung-tae, Choi Soo-ho, La Poem, and Jo Jae-zz.

A representative stated, "A combination of the strongest artists has emerged. They will face off in a spectacular and high-quality performance. A champion of glory will be born," expressing high expectations.

'Immortal Songs' has maintained the top viewership ratings for almost 14 years during its broadcast time. The first part of the King of Kings Special will air today, and the second part will be revealed on the 5th of next month. It will be broadcast on Saturdays at 6:05 PM.
