Singer Lee Seung-gi and The Boyz shared a warm spirit at the end of the year. On the 27th, Lee Seung-gi, along with The Boyz members Hyunjae, Jacob, and Kevin, visited the Jongno Senior Welfare Center under the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism Social Welfare Foundation, headed by Monk Jeongkwan. They participated in a meal service volunteer activity at the welfare center's cafeteria for the elderly in Jongno-gu.
Recently, Lee Seung-gi played the role of the head monk of Baekyangsa Temple in the movie 'The Big Family.' To celebrate the year's end, he visited the seniors in Jongno-gu, which was the setting of the film, and shared warmth through volunteer work. He has consistently maintained a relationship with the Jongno Senior Welfare Center through regular support and volunteer activities. This year, he received an award from the Chief Administrator of the Jogye Order in the welfare contributor category at the Superstar Jongno event hosted by the Jongno Senior Welfare Center.
On this day, Lee Seung-gi joined The Boyz members Jacob, Hyunjae, and Kevin in volunteering at the senior cafeteria. They served carefully prepared meals and shared warm interactions with local seniors. He stated, "I was able to share warmth with those in need at the end of the year. It was gratifying to see so many people appreciate it," and added, "It was more meaningful to do it with The Boyz. I hope that many will experience more happiness in the new year."
Monk Jeongkwan expressed gratitude, saying, "I am thankful to Lee Seung-gi and The Boyz for practicing community sharing through meal service volunteering despite the cold weather. I hope they will continue to be a great strength to the community through their ongoing relationship with the welfare center."
