Singer Lee Seung-gi returned to his roots and spent a time filled with laughter and emotion with his fans. Lee Seung-gi held his 20th debut anniversary fan meeting '7300+' at Ewha Womans University's Samsung Hall in Seoul on the 27th at 2 PM and 6 PM. He met with fans who have shared memories over the years.
The fan meeting '7300+' is an event to commemorate Lee Seung-gi's 20th debut anniversary. The title '7300+' represents '365 days x 20 years' plus a '+'.
Lee Seung-gi replicated the style from his debut stage 20 years ago. Wearing jeans, a white belt, a black shirt, and a white jacket, he appeared singing 'Because You're My Woman'. Fans responded with enthusiastic applause.
Lee Seung-gi said, "To commemorate the 20th anniversary and my move to a new company, I wanted to prepare this fan meeting as an opportunity to meet with you all."
He then proceeded with a Q&A session. Lee Seung-gi prepared close and casual questions and answers only possible at a fan meeting. He built special memories by getting closer to his fans.
He also shared some TMI about his new album. Lee Seung-gi revealed, "I asked Senior Yoon Jong-shin to write a song," raising expectations for the new song.
It didn't stop there. Lee Seung-gi passionately sang his hit songs such as 'Unspoken Words', 'Return', and 'Like Flowers'. He also delighted fans by revealing a Vlog where he made cookies himself for the fan meeting.
He sang 'Delete' from his debut album. He expressed his unique sentiments by saying, "I sang 'Delete' to return to my roots. Singing it at the 20th anniversary fan meeting reminds me of my high school days during my first album."
Lee Seung-gi said, "I'm grateful to the fans who have been with me, not just for this 20th anniversary. I'm so happy to meet directly, see your faces, and recall the past 20 years together."
He added, "This year, I will focus on making a great album and gradually build up as a singer to greet you with an amazing concert," revealing his renewed determination.
At the end of the fan meeting, fans prepared a surprise event for Lee Seung-gi. They prepared a video of them singing 'All the Times We Spent Together' and a cake.
Lee Seung-gi said, "I thought I was the only one who prepared surprises, but thank you for always caring like this. I will continue to work hard. Thank you once again," he expressed his gratitude.
Lee Seung-gi concluded the fan meeting by performing encore songs. He sang 'I Must Have Been Out of My Mind', 'Let's Go on a Trip', 'Smile Boy', and 'All the Times We Spent Together'.
Meanwhile, Lee Seung-gi plans to continue his active activities.
