Actors Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-seok meet as a couple in crisis. They will work together in the new drama "Okay, Let's Get Divorced."
On the 11th, the new drama "Okay, Let's Get Divorced" (written by Hwang Ji-eon, directed by Joo Sung-woo) announced that Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-seok have been confirmed to star. They also introduced each character and hinted at the narrative.
Directed by Joo Sung-woo, "Okay, Let's Get Divorced" deals with the real-life divorce experience of a couple who own a wedding dress shop. The two aim to end their exhausted marriage and embark on a divorce journey.
Lee Min-jung returns to dramas after five years with this work. She plays Baek Mi-young, the CEO of Gian White. Inspired by her father, who runs a tailor shop, she dreams of becoming a female tailor.
After the unexpected passing of her parents due to an accident, she immerses herself in work. She quickly marries the wedding shop designer, Ji Won-ho, who stayed by her side, and they start Gian White together.
Kim Ji-seok takes on the role of Ji Won-ho, Mi-young's husband, who falls in love with Mi-young at first sight at his first job and proposes after six months of dating. A certain incident in the fourth year of their marriage brings their relationship to a crisis.
A representative stated, "The combination of Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-seok already raises expectations. Anticipate their bickering chemistry as they portray a couple for the first time."
The production team commented, "It's an honor to cast both actors. Their intense synergy will bring enjoyment to the home theater. We will enhance the drama's quality and engagement."
"Okay, Let's Get Divorced" aims to premiere in the first half of 2025 and be available on global OTT platforms.
