'Yoon's Number One Contributor' Lee Jun-seok Reaffirms Criticism of Yoon's Inner Circle
Lee Jun-seok, the presidential candidate for the Reformist Party, drew a line against the so-called 'Moderate Conservative Big Tent Theory' proposed by Kim Moon-soo, a candidate from the People Power Party. On the 12th, he stated on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show' that he has "no interest" in it.
He explained, "The Reformist Party was created in opposition to vested interests and to start a new party, even if it's small. I raised objections to unilateral political actions." He went on to assert, "The People Power Party has been revealed through this situation to be the party that Yoon Suk-yeol and the 'Yoon's inner circle' have effectively led a collective lynching against."

Regarding the attempts by the People Power Party leadership to overturn Kim's victory in the primary, he remarked, "They started by metaphorically beating up the candidate who was procedurally elected." He added, "Even those who have called me 'strange' have been contacting me."
Homage to Late President Roh Moo-hyun… Start of Campaign in Yeosu
The candidate revealed that the background of his visit to Yeosu on the first day of official campaigning, following Busan, was an homage to the late President Roh Moo-hyun. He stated, "President Roh was the one who established the national scholarship system when I went to study abroad," and he praised him as "a politician who lived a challenging life and maintained a stance of not collaborating if it wasn't right."
He emphasized, "While there may be policy differences with President Roh, I wanted to emulate his political attitude and approach." He continued, "I have consistently publicly opposed the irrational actions of President Yoon Suk-yeol, and I believe that is the correct attitude toward politics."

"A Country Where I Can Share My Story, That's Education"
As a key promise for this presidential election, he placed 'education' at the forefront. He asserted, "I was born into a middle-class family and worked hard with my parents to reach the positions of party leader and member of the National Assembly," and emphasized, "This narrative must be maintained in our country."
He stated, "For that narrative to continue, children need to feel motivated to study, and in that process, the next generation who will follow Lee Jun-seok must emerge." He concluded, "I will ensure that through education, the ladder is firmly in place so that your child can become the next Lee Jun-seok of the Republic of Korea."
