Actor Lee Jong-suk becomes a lawyer affiliated with a law firm. On the 5th, Ace Factory announced, "Lee Jong-suk has confirmed his next project. He will dive into the realistic life of associate lawyers in the new tvN drama 'Seochodong'."

'Seochodong' is a courtroom office drama. It tells the story of 'office worker' lawyers who deal with cases and grow while commuting daily to the legal district in Seocho-dong, Seoul.

Lee Jong-suk will play Ahn Ju-hyung, a ninth-year law firm lawyer. He became a lawyer not out of a desire to protect the weak or implement justice, but because he was interested in viewing cases logically.

Ju-hyung has been with the same company for nine years. His work is at a master level due to his long tenure, and he has even set new records in salary. However, cracks begin to appear in his peaceful workplace.

This character portrays a different type of lawyer compared to his previous role in 'Big Mouth'. Lee Jong-suk will be stepping closer to reality, portraying an office worker lawyer rather than a spectacular lawyer (Big Mouth).

The drama will be directed by Park Seung-woo. It marks their second collaboration after working together on MBC-TV's 'W' in 2016, which earned Lee Jong-suk a grand award.

The script is written by Lee Seung-hyun, who is also a practicing lawyer. He plans to bring a variety of episodes and a highly realistic storyline, based on his own experiences.

Meanwhile, 'Seochodong' is aiming to air on tvN in the first half of next year.
