Singer Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon have stepped up to support youth preparing for independence by donating 200 million won.

According to the "Beautiful Foundation," the couple delivered a donation of 200 million won to the foundation on the 19th, requesting that it be used to help youth preparing for independence. They have joined in a good deed for those in the welfare blind spot. The funds will be used for living support for students and career exploration activities to help young people gain independence.

The couple expressed, "We hope this can be a small help for a healthy independence," adding, "We wish for youth to find their own uniqueness and dream of a future."

Lee Hyori has been connected with the foundation since 2011 and has helped disadvantaged neighbors in various ways, donating a substantial amount for elderly people living alone and single-parent families.

Lee Sang-soon has also participated, recently donating 2 tons of feed to an animal shelter. In March, he donated 20 million won for recovery efforts from wildfires in the Gyeongbuk region.

Meanwhile, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon got married in 2013.
