Actor Lee Dong-wook presents emotional noir.
"Good Man" (written by Kim Woon-gyeong and Kim Hyo-seok, directed by Song Hae-sung and Park Hong-soo) opens the JTBC Friday series. On the 20th, three character teaser videos were released, capturing Lee Dong-wook's noir moments.
He plays 'Park Seok-cheol', the eldest grandson of a gang family. glimpses of Seok-cheol's tumultuous life, filled with responsibilities, were evident. His eyes, while dressing a blood-stained bandage, reflected emptiness.
A surprising aspect was also revealed. Seok-cheol admired the novelist Hemingway, reciting the line, "As long as the sun rises, there is hope," while grappling with his inner turmoil, evoking deep emotions.
Despite dreaming of being a novelist, he ended up living the life of a gangster. He encapsulated the narrative with the words, "I chose a path less traveled by others. And everything changed because of that."

Park Seok-cheol became a gangster against his will. He has endured steadfastly, but now he is determined to return his life to its rightful place. He takes on the challenge of pursuing his childhood dream of becoming a novelist once again.
He experiences a fateful reunion with his first love, Kang Mi-young (played by Lee Sung-kyung), who dreams of becoming a singer. Another whirlwind hits his life. Viewers can expect a profound emotional melodrama between Lee Dong-wook and Lee Sung-kyung.
"Good Man" is directed by Song Hae-sung, known for films such as "Pah-ran," "The Family on Beasts," and "Our Happy Time," and Park Hong-soo, director of the drama "No Longer Human." It promises delicate directing.
The writers Kim Woon-gyeong, known for "Yuna's Street," "Seoul's Moon," and "The Bluebird," and Kim Hyo-seok, from the film "Opposition," collaborate on the project. Lee Dong-wook leads the cast, joined by Lee Sung-kyung, Park Hoon, Oh Na-ra, Ryu Hye-young, and Cheon Ho-jin, delivering powerful performances.
Meanwhile, "Good Man" will premiere on the 18th of next month at 8:50 PM, announcing the start of the weekend with two consecutive episodes every Friday.
