Lee Byung-hun’s ‘Victory’ surpasses 1.35 million… tops the weekend box office.

The film 'The Match' (directed by Kim Hyung-joo) has topped the weekend box office for two consecutive weeks.

According to the integrated ticket sales network of the Korean Film Council, 'The Match' attracted 427,008 viewers over the weekend (November 4-6). The cumulative audience count stands at 1,351,652.

On the 11th day of its release, it surpassed the 1 million mark on November 5. As its steady success continues, it is anticipated that it will comfortably exceed the break-even point of 1.8 million viewers.

'Lobby' (directed by Ha Jung-woo) claimed the second spot, drawing 101,520 viewers nationwide during the same period. Since its release on November 2, it has attracted a total of 165,313 viewers to theaters.

Ranking third is 'Attack on Titan: The Final Season – The Last Attack' (directed by Hayashi Yuichiro, 60,000 viewers), followed by 'Flow' (directed by Gintsu Chibalodis, 10,000 viewers).

Meanwhile, 'The Match' tells the story of a legendary Go player in South Korea, Cho Hun-hyeon (played by Lee Byung-hun), who, after losing to his disciple Lee Chang-ho (played by Yoo Ah-in), seeks to reclaim his top status.
