Le Sserafim will perform at Europe’s largest music awards ceremony. The ‘2024 MTV Europe Music Awards’ (MTV EMA) announced on the 31st that “Le Sserafim has been listed as a performer for this year’s ceremony.” Anticipation is high for their performance.
“Stay tuned for Le Sserafim’s appearance on the ‘MTV EMA’ stage on November 10th (local time),” they stated. There is also interest in whether they will receive an award. Le Sserafim has been nominated in the ‘Best New’, ‘Best Push’, and ‘Best K-Pop’ categories.
This is the first time a K-pop girl group has been nominated for ‘Best New,’ the equivalent of a rookie award. They are nominated alongside pop stars Benson Boone, Tyla, Teddy Swims, and others. The ‘MTV EMA’ is an awards ceremony organized by MTV Networks Europe.
It awards trophies to songs, music videos, and artists that have made a significant impact on the European music scene over the past year. It is cherished as a festival for music lovers worldwide, and its host city changes every year, including cities like Berlin and Paris.
This year’s ceremony will be held in Manchester, UK. Previously, Le Sserafim won the ‘PUSH Performance of the Year’ at the ‘2024 MTV Video Music Awards’ last month. Meanwhile, Le Sserafim released their 4th mini-album ‘CRAZY’ on August 30th.
The title track of the same name entered the U.S. Billboard ‘Hot 100’ chart for two consecutive weeks.
