LE SSERAFIM is making a 'hot' comeback.
LE SSERAFIM will release their 5th mini album 'HOT' on the 14th at 1 PM (KST). 'HOT' is an album about the attitude of wholeheartedly committing to love.
The album contains a total of 5 tracks, including the title track of the same name, 'Born Fire', 'Come Over', 'Ash', and 'So Cynical'.
Ahead of the release, they highlighted key points to look forward to: the completion of a trilogy project, their first love song title track since their debut, and global collaborations reflecting world-class talent.
First, 'HOT' is a project that has been planned since 2023. It is the final part of a trilogy following their previous mini albums, 'EASY' and 'CRAZY'.
'EASY' dealt with the anxieties and struggles behind the scenes, while 'CRAZY' proclaimed their determination not to be consumed by these anxieties. They expressed a willingness to throw everything away and go wild.
'HOT' goes even further, as it dives willingly into love without hesitation, regardless of the outcome. It shows the process of their inner strength becoming more resilient.
Notably, this is the first time they’re singing about love in a title track. In 'HOT', they convey a message of being ready to jump into anything for the one they love.
The lyrical melody and unique performances are also noteworthy. LE SSERAFIM previously showcased old-school hip-hop vibes in 'EASY' and attempted voguing in 'CRAZY'.
This activity won’t be limited to a specific genre of dance; they will showcase choreography that fully expresses the song's emotions and highlights the individual qualities of each member.
Finally, the expectation for their new album is enhanced by global collaborations. The credits for the title track include names like 'Unforgiven' Felip, Alie Tamposi, and others.
British duo Josh Lloyd and Lydia Keto worked on 'Come Over', producing a song that combines the band's unique vintage vibe with their airy vocals.
They are also collaborating for the second time with Blizzard Entertainment's action game 'Overwatch 2'. 'So Cynical' was revealed through a trailer for 'Overwatch 2'.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will operate a pop-up event titled 'LE SSERAFIM 2025 S/S Popup – The Hot House' starting from this day at Platz 2 in Seongsu-dong.
