During a controversy that arose when Representative Lee was caught trading stocks in Mr. Cha's name on the 4th at the National Assembly, he vehemently denied any proxy trading activities, stating, "I have never opened a stock account in someone else's name for proxy trading."

However, it appears that he changed his stance during the police investigation and acknowledged some of the allegations.

It is known that Representative Lee denied allegations that he used undisclosed information obtained through his work at the National Policy Planning Committee for stock transactions.

While acknowledging proxy stock trading, he drew a line regarding the suspicion of illegal trading using insider information.

The police plan to analyze their stock trading records and data obtained from seized PCs to verify the truth of their statements.
