"Couldn't Stop Crying"
Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu suddenly passed away at the age of 48. Her husband, DJ Koo (55), is engulfed in deep sorrow, bidding farewell to his wife with a tearful kiss.
Barbie's close friend, Jia Yongjie, announced on Facebook on the 3rd that she "headed straight to the Shinkansen immediately upon hearing the news." The family is currently holding the funeral in Japan. Jia Yongjie mentioned, "She looked peaceful and beautiful, just like she was sleeping," adding, "My heart aches, I'm devastated. Couldn't stop crying, I was too sad to speak."
DJ Koo gave his final goodbye to his beloved wife. Jia Yongjie said, "Finally, he gave her a deep kiss and tenderly said goodbye. His cries were heart-wrenching." She continued, "He said 'I love you' and hoped to meet again. Later, he sent me a selfie they took together. I couldn't stop crying while looking at the photo."
Jia Yongjie expressed missing Barbie, questioning the deceased, "You said you'd come to our house. How did you become an angel?" She urged others to consider and support the bereaved family. "Hsu left too suddenly. It's hard for family and friends to accept. I hope everyone can give them more time and love," she added.
A local tour guide informed the Taiwanese media about the situation on the 2nd. Barbie and her family went on a family trip to the hot springs in Hakone, Japan, on the 29th last month. At that time, she had symptoms of a cold and asthma.
Her acquaintances mentioned, "Hsu caught the flu after attending a friend's event last month," adding, "She didn't want to affect the family trip schedule and went abroad during the Lunar New Year." Even after arriving in Japan, Barbie continued to cough. She stayed at the hotel before being admitted to a hospital on the 1st, where she was diagnosed with influenza A. However, it seems she missed the optimal time for treatment.
