She recalled her son while watching the other graduates. "How wonderful it would have been if Ji-han had been alive to graduate. Since that couldn't happen, it all felt pointless and meaningless," she wrote.
She continued, "After October 29, our family without Ji-han feels like we are walking without souls. Nothing seems to have any meaning anymore."
