The poster shows the back of Joon (played by Kwon Sang-woo), cloaked in darkness with the city's nightscape in the background. Noticeable are the overly tense shoulders and the wisp of smoke rising from a pencil in his hand.

An official stated, "Joon returns as a blockbuster hit writer after evolving from a legendary assassin agent to a webtoon writer with a nose for trouble. Expect a more powerful performance from Hitman."
