Korail's Baggage Storage and Delivery Service at Seoul Station Gains Popularity Among Travelers

Korail's newly launched 'baggage storage and delivery' service at Seoul Station on March 25 has quickly become popular among travelers, showing significant growth in just one month.

As demand for convenient travel without heavy luggage increases, the service has established itself as an essential travel service, recording an average of 260 uses per day and over 8,000 total utilizations.

Located on the second floor of Seoul Station, this facility provides safe storage for travelers' bags or delivers them to a desired destination. The usage method is simple, with on-site registration or pre-booking via Korail's mobile app, 'Korail Talk.' Notably, usage peaks on weekends, averaging 365 uses, and on Sunday, April 6, it recorded a maximum of 464 uses in a single day.

A representative from the baggage delivery and storage operation stated, "The service usage rate and satisfaction level among foreign tourists are particularly high," adding, "The close proximity to the airport railway significantly contributes to attracting foreign users."

With the global spread of K-culture, the number of individual travelers visiting Korea is on the rise, making this a key service to support their 'light-handed travel.'

Meanwhile, Korail operates baggage storage and delivery locations at 13 major KTX stations nationwide, including Yongsan, Gwangmyeong, Cheonan-Asan, Osong, Daejeon, Dongdaegu, Gyeongju, Busan, Gwangju Songjeong, Yeosu Expo, Mokpo, and Gangneung Station.

As a result, travelers can conveniently receive heavy suitcases or golf bags at designated locations like accommodations or golf courses, enhancing their experience of train travel.

A Korail official stated, "We will continue to prioritize customer convenience and develop a variety of tailored services to improve the satisfaction of train travel."
