Shocking Sexual Exploitation Allegations Against an Employee of Seoul Metro Who Worked as a Job Mentor
A shocking allegation has been raised that a 30-something employee working as a railway driver at Seoul Metro sexually exploited job seekers, prompting police to launch an investigation.
On the 11th, JTBC's "Incident Team" reported the story of A, a job seeker who claimed to have been sexually exploited by Baek, a current railway driver at Seoul Metro who worked as a mentor for job seekers.
While preparing for employment, A came across Baek's blog, which led them to contact him after much contemplation, sending personal information such as their passport photo, exam ticket, and address.

A stated, "As soon as the FaceTime call connected, the first thing he asked was, 'How old are you now?'" and continued, "After he made me feel vulnerable, he suddenly asked, 'Should I go easy on you or hard on you?' When I told him to go hard, he told me to grab my phone and go to the bathroom immediately."
According to A, Baek instructed them to take a shower with only their underwear on and all other clothes removed. A expressed disbelief at Baek's instructions but complied due to a desperate state of mind.
A further added, "After I finished showering, he had me kneel, raise my hands, or do push-up positions, claiming I didn't respond properly."
Even more shocking is that A is not the only victim. Baek had forced some job seekers to not wear any underwear and demanded they send photos of themselves naked while kneeling.

Baek demanded absolute 'obedience' from job seekers and requested photos of them kneeling with their faces visible.
For job seekers invited to his home, Baek quizzed them, and if they answered incorrectly, he would make them take off their clothes one by one. He also engaged in violent acts such as choking or pinching them while they were undressed. It has even been reported that some victims were hit with a metal pipe.
Attorney Park Ji-hoon stated, "The victims are feeling immense shame, so the actual number of victims may be higher." He added, "Currently, those victims who have successfully found employment might be afraid of being labeled as whistleblowers, which prevents them from coming forward."
Currently, A has given up on their dream of working in a railway-related profession and has stated that they have canceled their registration for an academy they had already been accepted into. It has been reported that Baek has been suspended from his position due to this incident.
