Kim Yu-jeong, Kim Young-dae, Kim Do-hoon, First Meeting… ‘Dear X’, The Beginning of Destruction

Actors Kim Yoo-jung, Kim Young-dae, and Kim Do-hoon depict a destructive melodramatic suspense story.

On the 5th, the production team of the Tving series "Dear X" (written by Choi Ja-won, directed by Lee Eung-bok and Park So-hyun) revealed the first script reading session, raising expectations for the collaboration of beloved actors.

"Dear X" is a crime melodrama thriller. It tells the story of a woman donning a mask to escape hell and ascend to the highest heights, along with the Xs who have been brutally trampled on.

Directors Lee Eung-bok and Park So-hyun, as well as writer Choi Ja-won, participated in the rehearsal. The main cast gathered in one place, including Kim Yoo-jung, Kim Young-dae, Kim Do-hoon, and Lee Yeol-eum.

Kim Yoo-jung takes on the role of top star Baek A-jin. A-jin is a character who has risen to the top by stepping over childhood wounds. She hides a cruel true nature behind her beauty.

Kim Young-dae plays Yoon Jun-seo. He is the only place of refuge that has been by A-jin's side throughout her life, but he is also her Achilles' heel. For love, he will cause his own destruction.

Kim Do-hoon portrays Kim Jae-oh, a character who has lived a rough life enduring abuse. After finding a reason to live in A-jin, who shares the same pain, he becomes her shadow.

The direction will be handled by Directors Lee Eung-bok and Park So-hyun. Director Lee is known as a hitmaker, having created "Sweet Home" and "Descendants of the Sun." Writer Choi Ja-won is crafting her first mid-length work.

Meanwhile, "Dear X" will be released on Tving in November.
