Actor Kim Yoon-seok announced his successful return to drama with his deep acting skills.

Netflix's 'In the Woods with No One' (directed by Mo Wan-il) was released on the 23rd. Kim Yoon-seok passionately played the role of 'Yeong-ha.' Yeong-ha is a retired man who runs a pension and spends his days in peace and tranquility. He gets caught in a whirlwind due to an uninvited guest.

Kim Yoon-seok returned to drama after 17 years with this work. He showcased his profound acting skills by portraying the character differently in the beginning, middle, and end of the 8-episode series.

Yeong-ha wanted to live more ordinarily, quietly, and peacefully than anyone else. Therefore, he chose to turn a blind eye, believing that if he pretended not to notice, everything would go away. Still, he was constantly plagued by guilt.

He faced multiple choices and conflicts due to the repetitive events. His attempts to avoid and slightly ignore the situations caused significant repercussions, which eventually struck him like a huge boulder. Yeong-ha gradually began to reveal the madness that had been dormant inside him.

Kim Yoon-seok delicately unraveled these changes in Yeong-ha. Even amid intense emotions, he maintained a balanced performance with other characters, keeping the tension tight until the end.

'In the Woods with No One' ranked 4th in the Netflix Global Top 10 (Non-English) category in its first week of release. The thrilling suspense combined with outstanding performances by the actors has received praise.
