Actress Kim Tae-ri attended the GV for the film 'Black Nuns' (directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae). She expressed her impressions, saying it felt like a hero movie.

On the 5th, Kim Tae-ri visited the 'Black Nuns' Megatalk GV held at Megabox COEX. Kim Tae-ri is well-known to be close friends with Jeon Yeo-bin (who plays the role of Michaela). She shared her thoughts in front of the audience that day.

Kim Tae-ri said, "The director seemed to want to talk about the value of solidarity and saving lives. I liked the part where I felt the determination of 'someone has to do it, and the one who can, does it.'"

She also expressed affection for the character Michaela. Kim Tae-ri smiled, saying, "My favorite scene is where Michaela is seen eating ice cream and tanghulu."

Kim Tae-ri mentioned the character Younia (played by Song Hye-kyo), saying, "I found the undisguised bewilderment and wariness about Younia to be childlike," and added, "I liked the contrast with her curt demeanor at the beginning of the movie."

She lavished praise on Jeon Yeo-bin's acting. "Jeon Yeo-bin is an actress whose deep contemplation about the work and the character is clearly visible in her performance," she complimented.

Jeon Yeo-bin analyzed her character, saying, "After Michaela meets Younia, who faces herself, she comes to accept herself. It seems she has become someone who can run toward freedom."

Director Kwon Hyuk-jae said, "As the movie progresses, I hoped it would advance in an occult drama format," and added, "I tried to harmonize the energy of Younia and Michaela, along with integrating other characters seamlessly."

'Black Nuns' is a spinoff of 'The Priests.' It tells the story of two nuns saving a boy possessed by an evil spirit. The film has been praised for its refreshing combination of Catholic exorcism, shamanic beliefs, and tarot cards.

'Black Nuns' was released on the 24th of last month. As of the 6th, it has recorded a cumulative audience of 1,501,426. It is just 100,000 viewers shy of its break-even point (1.6 million).
