Actress and singer Kim Seol-hyun moved the viewers to tears.
Kim Seol-hyun is currently starring in the Disney+ original series "The Lighting Store" (directed by Kim Hee-won), playing the role of the mysterious customer Lee Ji-young.
On the 12th, episodes 5 and 6 of "The Lighting Store" were unveiled, revealing the relationship between Ji-young and Kim Hyun-min (played by Um Tae-goo) and the hidden stories between them.
Ji-young learned that her lover Hyun-min had an accident on his way to meet her. Mistakenly believing he had died, she made an extreme choice.
The reason she waited at the bench for the bus Hyun-min was on every day was also revealed. It was the same action as in the past. Even after her life ended, she thought of Hyun-min.
The scenes moved viewers to tears. The portrayal of Ji-young, who couldn't speak, trying to make a sound, and finally saying her lover’s name, was touching.
Her agency commented, "Kim Seol-hyun has intricately woven Lee Ji-young's narrative. She presents a new acting transformation with profound expressions in every episode."
Meanwhile, "The Lighting Store" tells the story of mysterious customers with secrets visiting a lighting store at the end of a dark alley. Episodes 7 and 8 are scheduled to be released on the 18th.
