Actors Kim Nam-gil, Lee Ha-nee, Kim Sung-kyun, Sung Joon, and Kim Hyeong-seo unveiled the action behind-the-scenes of ‘The Fiery Priest 2.’ On the 11th, SBS released action behind-the-scenes cuts from the Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Fiery Priest 2,’ capturing the dedication of the action scene main actors Kim Nam-gil, Lee Ha-nee, Kim Sung-kyun, Sung Joon, and Kim Hyeong-seo.
First, Kim Nam-gil (as Kim Hae-il) perfected the knife-angle action. He maintained an impeccable appearance amidst makeup and a deluge of water. He was completely absorbed, even during Joker makeup action and rain action scenes.
A representative stated, “Kim Nam-gil conducted rehearsals with a variety of combinations to create even more fantastic scenes. He was determined in the Uma Church rain action scene.” Lee Ha-nee (as Park Kyung-seon) embodied her bubbly character’s personality even in action scenes, performing nimble moves with a mask on. She adjusted the drama’s intensity with action accompanied by a hint of comedy.
Kim Sung-kyun (as Goo Dae-young) boasted stronger courage and power in season 2. He executed a provocative scene at Jirim Land with a clown mask on, delivering a thrilling performance with a confident expression.
Sung Joon (as Kim Hong-sik) exuded the weight and force expected from a top villain. In a rain action scene, he showcased his impressive physique in an all-white suit, dominating the atmosphere with a charismatic expression.
Kim Hyeong-seo (as Goo Ja-young) took on her first action challenge, naturally handling intense action. She portrayed straightforward action perfectly suited to her no-filter character with determined expressions.
A representative commented, “The actors from Season 1 have upgraded their action scenes to be stronger, more glamorous, and more varied in depiction. Kim Hyeong-seo and Sung Joon also delivered concept actions for their respective characters.”
The production crew expressed, “We are thankful for the actors who devoted themselves to bringing action scenes to life on set. Look forward to unprecedented action scenes in the remaining 3 episodes.”
