Actor Kim Nam-gil donates even the tickets from a donation show. The cultural and arts NGO 'Gilstory' will invite teenagers from culturally marginalized areas for free to the '2024 SMG Show – Universe Supreme Show' (hereafter 'Universe Supreme Show') to be held on December 7-8 at Kyunghee University's Peace Hall. Discounts will also be offered to students and teenagers. Students who took this year's college entrance exam will get a 30% discount, and teenagers under 18 will get a 20% discount.

The 'Universe Supreme Show' is the first-ever donation show in Korea. Under the title 'Actor Con', 22 actors, including Kim Nam-gil, will participate as close friends. All actors will appear as a talent donation, that is, without a fee.

This year marks the third iteration of the show. The lineup for this year's show includes Kim Nam-gil, Kim Sung-kyun, Lee Ha-nee, Kim Won-hae, Baek Ji-won, Go Kyu-pil, Seo Hyun-woo, Ahn Chang-hwan, Jeon Sung-woo, Sung Joon, Na Sun-wook, among others. These are the main actors responsible for the success of SBS-TV's 'The Fiery Priest.'

Actors who worked with Kim Nam-gil on tvN's 'Three Meals a Day Light' will also visit. Yoo Hae-jin and Cha Seung-won are expected to grace the 'Universe Supreme Show'. Members of the private group 'Pal Gongsan' such as Park Ji-hwan, Jin Goo, and Kim Dae-myung will also take part. Close friends Park Sung-woong, Jung Man-sik, Lee Sang-yoon, Lee Si-eon, No Sang-yeob, and Noh Jung-ui have also announced their participation. The lineup differs on the 7th and 8th.

Kim Nam-gil, the representative of 'Gilstory', explained, "The Universe Supreme Show is a donation show to raise funds to support children and teenagers in crisis," and added, "We thought it was meaningful to invite teenagers from culturally marginalized areas for free."

Ticket prices have also been lowered. "There were many inquiries from teenagers about attending. We hope it will be a performance worth seeing around the year-end for students and teenagers who took this year's college entrance exam."

He continued, "I am sincerely preparing with gratitude as fellow actors readily extended their hands to participate in the talent donation," and requested "much participation and interest."

This year's 'Universe Supreme Show' aims to raise 100 million won in sponsorship funds. All proceeds will be sent to children and teenagers in crisis.

In 2019, Kim Nam-gil held the first donation show 'Kim Nam-gil's Universe Supreme Show'. All proceeds were donated to support a public art campaign.

At that time, Park Sung-woong, Um Jung-hwa, Ju Ji-hoon, Lee Sang-yeob, Go Kyu-pil, Eum Moon-seok, Kim Min-sik, and Hwang Je-seong supported without any fee. The event saw about 4,000 spectators gather to enjoy the performance.

In 2022, the second donation show was held. Participants included Park Sung-woong, Jung Man-sik, Jung Moo-sung, Cha Cheong-hwa, Go Kyu-pil, Kim Jun-han, Lee Hyun-wook, Cha Yeob, Im Si-wan, Sung Joon, Seo Hyun, broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu, Professor Kwon Il-yong, CEO Baek Jong-won, and CEO Han Jae-deok.

The proceeds from the performance were used for the 'Companionship Campaign', utilized for raising awareness of animal rights and medical expenses for abused animals.
