Kim Mu-jun, Japan’s ‘Caster’ Premiere… Following ‘Blank Page 2,’ Successful Voyage Continues

Actor Kim Mu-jun has left a deep impression on Japanese viewers.

Kim Mu-jun appeared in TBS's Sunday Theater "Caster," which premiered on the 13th. The broadcast recorded a viewership rating of 14.2%, marking a smooth start.

"Caster" is set against the backdrop of the news program JBN's "News Gate." It follows the pursuit of hidden truths and uncovers social injustices.

Kim Mu-jun plays the role of news department AD Choi Jae-sung, who is a South Korean exchange student. He is expected to convincingly portray a character that bridges the perspectives of both countries.

Previously, he met Japanese viewers through TBS's "Black Peang 2," where he demonstrated his potential as a global star playing the role of surgical intern Min-jae from Korea.

He is also actively continuing his activities in South Korea. Kim Mu-jun will appear in SBS-TV's upcoming "Kiss is Unnecessarily Done!" set to air in the second half of this year, taking on a romantic comedy.

Meanwhile, "Caster," featuring Kim Mu-jun, will be available for viewing in over 190 countries worldwide through Netflix starting from the 20th.
